PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot, one of the most exciting young players in Europe, is determined to leave the French champions. However, according to ESPN, one team he will not be joining is Tottenham Hotspur.
That is because he does not believe Spurs are not at his level, which, coupled with the €10 million salary that he is demanding, large signing-on fee, and long-term contract, is more than enough to deter the North London club from bidding for his services when he becomes a free agent in the summer when his contract expires.
Rabiot has refused to sign a new contract with the French champions who, in retaliation, have taken the decision to bench him indefinitely. He has been linked with a move to Spain and Barcelona, although Italian champions Juventus are also monitoring his situation.
PSG are set to travel to Qatar, home of their owners, for a mid-season tour in a few weeks, but Rabiot is unlikely to join them whilst the dispute continues.
