Both Real Madrid and Barcelona want to sign Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
That is according to several papers, including The Daily Express who report that Barcelona in particular have prepared a comprehensive set of notes on the England forward, who was amongst a number of players to be unsettled at United, in the latter part of Joe Mourinho’s reign at the club, being left out of the side on several occasions.
The 21-year old has been touted as a potential United great, but he became disillusioned at how he was treated and was asked to play under the Portuguese, and may be ready to make a move if he is not given assurances about his future by the United board and interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Rashford started Solskjaer’s first game in charge at United, and gave the Norwegian the perfect start with a free-kick goal that completely deceived Cardiff keeper Neil Etheridge.
