Liverpool are going to wait until the January transfer window opens before deciding what to do with striker Dominic Solanke.
The England under-21 international, who arrived at Anfield from Chelsea last summer has fallen way down the pecking order this season, and has not even made the bench for any of their Premier League fixtures. He has been linked with a loan move next month, with Crystal Palace and Steven Gerrard’s Rangers mooted as possible destinations, reports The Mirror.
However, given the amount of fixtures that Liverpool have to play over the next three weeks, the club are prepared to wait until they are occur in case they need Solanke as cover if they pick up significant injuries to one of their key frontmen.
Solanke made 27 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions last season, scoring once, but has not had a look in this season, and a spell playing regular football somewhere else would appear the best solution for club and player.
