Both Chelsea and Liverpool are ready to go head to head in a bid to sign Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic.
The 20-year old American one of the few successes in his country’s 3 – 0 friendly loss to England on Thursday night, confirming the talent that has seen the attacking midfielder rated as one of the best talents playing in the Bundesliga.
Whilst Dortmund want to hold on to him, they accept that, with his contract running out in 2020, that now might be the time to cash in one of their biggest assets, with a fee of £70 million said to be on the table.
Chelsea, who might be facing a transfer ban from FIFA over the signing of underage players, want to sign him before any prohibitions come into place.
However, as reports The Daily Mirror, Liverpool are also very keen, with Jurgen Klopp interested in a player he knows well from his own time at Dortmund.
