Former Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce has been linked with a speedy return to football, just weeks after being fired by the Birmingham side.
Bruce who led his side to the Championship play-offs last season was dismissed at the start of October after presiding over a run of 9 games without a win, and was replaced at Villa Park by Dean Smith, assisted by John Terry.
However, it now looks like his spell out of the game may be limited following reports that fellow championship side Reading are considering bringing in the 57-year old to replace their existing manager Paul Clement.
The former Swansea manager and Real Madrid coach has only been at the Madejski Stadium since March when he succeeded Jaap Stam. However, he is now under pressure with his team in the bottom three, and his team two points from safety, having won just 3 times in the 15 matches in charge.
