Turkish side Beşiktaş reportedly want to cancel already goalkeeper Loris Karius’s loan spell with the club.
The German goalkeeper was number one at Liverpool last season but will best be remembered for the two horrendous blunders that he made in the Champions League final against Real Madrid. That prompted the Anfield side to seek a replacement, which due arrived in the shape of Allison, signed from Roma in a £67 million deal.
Deemed surplus to requirements by Jurgen Klopp, Karius was allowed to leave on a two season loan move to Turkey. However, now emerge reports that his new club are eager to get rid of him already because he continues to make high profile errors. First he flapped at a cross on his debut, and then repeated the mistake when playing against Malmo in the Europa League.
Given that they are paying 50% of his wages, Beşiktaş feel that they are entitled to expect a higher level of performance from Karius than they are currently getting, and are ready to bring a premature end to his loan spell.
