Whilst Jadon Sancho continues to make headlines across Europe with a string of impressive performances for Borussia Dortmund, there are fears that another Manchester City starlet could be in line for a high profile move abroad.
That is according to The Daily Mirror who report that Juventus are monitoring the situation of England under-17 World Cup Winner Phil Foden and could be ready to make a move for him at the end of the season if contract talks with the 18-year old and his representatives which are scheduled to begin soon, do not come to a successful fruition.
One issue that is likely to be key in those discussions is playing time. Foden will need assurances as to the amount of first-team action that he is likely to see at The Emirates, with most of his appearances so far this season limited to substitute minutes. If City bosses fail to convince him to sign a new deal, they risk losing him at the end of the season for as little as £175,000, which is essentially compensation they will receive for having developed him as a player.
