Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be in line for a dramatic return to Manchester United.
That is according to The Sun who report that the odds of the Swede returning to Old Trafford on a short-term loan deal have been cut to 7/2.
The 37-year old only left United in March of this year after terminating his contract, signing for MLS club LA Galaxy later that month. He has since gone on to be a big success in America, scoring 22 goals in 26 games for the Galaxy.
Now he could be in line for a reunion with manager Jose Mourinho, who is looking to bolster his firepower with Romelu Lukaku experiencing a barren spell in front of goal, and Alexis Sanchez not even making the first team at the moment.
In his first spell at United, Ibrahimovic scored 29 goals in 53 appearances, and helped the club win both the EFL Cup and the Europa League.
