Argentine defender Marcos Rojo has been linked with a January move to Turkish side Fenerbahce.
The 28-year old was linked with a move to Istanbul in the summer, but negotiations failed to materialise and he remained at Old Trafford, with the avowed aim of forcing his way back in to Jose Mourinho’s plans.
However, those plans have been scuppered by a number of minor injuries, and the Argentina international has yet to make a first-team appearance so far this season.
Now it looks like he could be set to leave Old Trafford in January, with Fenerbahce looking initially to take him on loan for the rest of the season with a view to making the deal permanent at a later date.
A £16 million capture from Portuguese side Sporting in August 2014, Rojo has never really established himself at United, although his time there has been dogged by several prolonged injury lay-offs.
