Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons has joined Czech side FC Slovan Librec on a six month loan deal.
The news was confirmed by the club’s official website which states that he has moved to the side which are currently 8th in the Czech top division.
The winger has made 22 appearances in all competitions for Newcastle since being released as a teenager by Bristol City, but he has struggled for first-team opportunities under Rafael Benitez and spent the second part of last season on loan with Hellas Verona in Serie A. However, despite making 11 appearances for Verona he could not prevent them being relegated at the end of the season, and he returned to England.
Now he is hoping that this latest loan move will help him get back to the sort of form that saw him earn 5 caps at England under-20 level in the 2014 – 2015 season, before injury and a loss of form stalled his career.
