Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is so frustrated by his situation at the club that he is ready to listen to offers to move in January.
The 29-year old Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the season and, although he is prepared to sign a new deal, the club have put all discussions on ice for the time being. According to The Metro, that has so irked the player that he is considering a move away when the transfer window opens again in January.
United manager Jose Mourinho is keen on keeping Herrera and his ability to play in different positions. However, after the Portuguese admitted that he does not get involved in player negotiations, and that responsibility for them lies with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, there are fears that Herrera could find himself caught in the cross-fire of the ongoing war between the two men. Mourinho has openly criticised Woodward for the club’s failure to sign new players in the summer, whilst Woodward, in turn has offered a new contract to Anthony Martial who his manager wanted to sell.
