Yaya Toure set for Olympiakos move

Former Manchester City Yaya Toure is set for a move to Greek side Olympiacos.

35-year old Toure is a free agent after being released by Manchester City at the end of last season, after an eight year spell with the club which saw him win 7 trophies, including three Premier League titles.

After a summer of speculation as to his future, the player’s agent Dimitri Seluk tweeted on Tuesday night that Toure had passed a medical in London and was set to sign a new contract with his club.

That led to a fresh wave of speculation, which Seluk was happy to encourage, that Toure had actually signed for one of the London clubs, with Palace, West Ham and even Arsenal said to be in the frame.

Now it transpires, as ESPN reports, that the club in question is Olympiacos, a club he played for during the 2005/2006 season before signing for Monaco.
