Tottenham winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is set for a loan move back to his native France after failing to make the grade in the Premier League.
The 23-year old winger was signed from Marseille for a reported fee of £11 million in August 2016, but his appearances have been limited to a handful of substitute cameos, and he has never started a single game for Mauricio Pochettino,
He spent the latter part of last season on loan at Burnley, but failed to make any impression there either, with all of his appearances for the club confined to the bench.
N’Koudou is no closer to first-team action with Spurs having plenty of options ahead of him in wide, attacking areas, so, having turned down a move to German side Mainz, he is, instead set for a return to France and Saint-Etienne, with France Football reporting that terms of the loan deal have nearly all been agreed between the two clubs.
