Tottenham and England full-back Danny Rose is in line for a loan move to Bundesliga side Schalke.
That is according to The Guardian who reports that Spurs are willing to let the 28-year old move on a season-long loan who has fallen out of favour at White Hart Lane after an injury-hit season last campaign which limited his number of first-team appearances to just ten.
Linked at one stage with a move to Manchester United, Tottenham tried to include Rose in a deal to sign Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon earlier in the summer but were firmly rebuffed by the West London club who are determined to hang-on to their teenage star.
Rose may be not the only player set to leave North London on deadline day, with Toby Alderweireld still linked with a move to Manchester United.
However, on the other side of the ledger, Tottenham look like they will be the only Premier League club not to make any signings, after Aston Villa turned down their £25 million bid for Jack Grealish.
