Everton winger Mirallas ready for Fiorentina loan move

Everton winger Kevin Mirallas is set for a season-long loan move to Serie A side Fiorentina, subject to passing a medical.

The 30-year old, who spent the latter part of last season also on loan, this time with Greek champions Olympiacos, is being allowed to move to Italy after failing to impress new Toffees’ boss Marco Silva, reports The Daily Mail, who suggest that the Merseyside club will receive a £500,000 loan fee, whilst the Serie A club will have the option to buy the player for £7 million next summer.

Mirallas joined Everton from Olympiacos in August 2012 for a fee of £6 million, and has since gone on to make 186 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 38 gaols. He signed a new three year contract with the club last May but, having fallen out of favour with successive managers, Ronald Koeman, Sam Allardyce and now Silva, his career on Merseyside now looks at an end.
