West Ham and newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers are leading the chase to sign Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro, with Leicester, Crystal Palace and Newcastle all set to be in the chase for the 25-year old as well.
That is according to Italian media outlet Tuttosport who report that Sturaro, who has struggled to establish himself at Juventus is ready to leave the Italian champions this summer, and Is looking to kick start a career that has seen him win four senior international caps for Italy.
Sturaro began his senior career with Genoa before signing for Juventus four years ago for a fee of £4.5 million. A technically versatile player, who can operate anywhere in midfield and renowned as a ball winner, he was regarded as one of the most promising players in the world a few years ago, although his reputation has been slightly tarnished by his spell in Turin, where he has failed to impress manager Massimiliano Allegri.
