Ruben Loftus-Cheek will stay a Chelsea player next season, despite interest from a number of clubs following his appearances for England at the World Cup.
That is according to The Daily Telegraph who report that Chelsea are adamant in their determination to hold on to the 22-year old midfielder, and will resist all temptations to cash-in on him should his value rise after the tournament in Russia.
However, Loftus-Cheek, who spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace, has made it quite clear that he is not prepared to sit on the bench next season at Stamford Bridge next season, so Chelsea might be forced to line up another loan deal for the player next season.
Loftus-Cheek has been at Chelsea since he was aged 8, and has made 32 for the senior side in all competitions, scoring twice. once in an FA Cup victory against Scunthorpe United in January 2016, and the second time in the League Cup.
