Arsenal’s Columbian goalkeeper David Ospina is set for a move to Fenerbahce, after reports emerged of the Turkish club’s president Ali Koc, flying to London for talks with representatives of both the player and Arsenal.
According to Turkish Football, who reports that Koc was spotted at the Dorchester Hotel in London, Fenerbahce want to overhaul their squad in a bid to win the Super Lig and are looking for a quality goalkeeper as part of those plans.
29-year old Ospina has been number two at Arsenal behind Petr Cech, but both goalkeepers are likely to have been pushed down the pecking order at The Emirates with the arrival of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.
Ospina looks the more likely of the two keepers to make way, although there have also been reports that Cech may be on his way out, with reports emerging linking the former Czech international with a move to Serie A side Napoli.
