Tottenham defender signs new contract

Tottenham defender Kyle Walker-Peters has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until 2021 reports The Daily Mail.

The 21-year old who made nine appearances for Spurs this season, signed a new three-year deal on Monday afternoon, 24 hours after appearing in the starting line-up for their final game of the League campaign, which saw them come from behind to beat Leicester City in a highly entertaining game which ended 5 – 4 for the home side.

The full-back has been at Tottenham for 5 years, and has represented England at all levels up to under-21.  He made his debut for their senior side in the first game of the season away at Newcastle United, putting in a display that saw him awarded the man of the match award by Sky Sports. He scored his first goal for the club in their 6 – 1 FA fifth round replay against Rochdale Town.
