The Independent reports that Gareth Bale has not ruled out a move to Bayern Munich in the summer, after reports emerged linking him with the German club.
Bale’s future at his current club Real Madrid has been the subject of speculation for some months, as he struggles for first-team football after several seasons where injuries have disrupted his form. He has largely been absent from the club’s Champions League run this campaign, and had again to be content with a non-playing role from the substitute’s bench as Real beat Bayern by two goals to one in their semi-final first leg on Wednesday.
Speaking ahead of the match, Bale insisted that whilst he was flattered to be linked with Bayern, his main focus was on helping Real do well, although he added “you can never rule anything out in football”.
The 28-year old has also been linked with a move back to the Premier League, with both Manchester United and former club Tottenham Hotspur rumoured to be interested in signing the Welsh international.
