According to The Daily Express, Real Madrid are prepared to spend big money in the summer to secure the transfer of Mohamed Salah.
Quoting Spanish media outlet Diario Gol, they report that Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to offer Liverpool £123 million plus midfielder Dani Ceballos in exchange for the Egyptian striker.
The newly-crowned PFA Player of the Year has had a sensational first season at Anfield with 31 Premier League goals so far this season to his name, a total which brings him level with previous league top scorers such as Alan Shearer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez. In addition, his goals have helped propel Liverpool to the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they meet Roma for a place in the final.
Manager Jurgen Klopp will not want to sell his prized striker after just one season, but the money on offer from Real will certainly be tempting, provided Liverpool can identify a suitable replacement.
