According to The Daily Mirror, Paris San-Germain are ready to offer Arsene Wenger the chance to become president of the club, as he looks for a new challenge after his departure from Arsenal.
Wenger announced on Friday that he will quit Arsenal after 22 years at the helm in North London, although it increasingly appears that he decided to leave or face the sack at the end of the season, with club directors concerned by poor performances on the pitch, falling attendances, and increasing division among the fan base.
PSG are set to appoint former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel as manager in the summer, replacing the outgoing Unai Emery, and want Wenger to join him in running the club, looking to exploit his knowledge of the game, and his extensive contacts book. Wenger has been involved in all aspects of running Arsenal, so would appear an ideal candidate for the job if he wants it, although his motivation will not be money, as he is being paid £11 million to walk away from The Emirates a year before the end of his current contract.
