According to talkSPORT, Arsenal are interested in a summer move for Fulham right-back Ryan Fredericks, who is out of contract with the West London club in June.
Fredericks is a former member of Tottenham’s academy, but moved to Bristol City in August 2015, having failed to make the grade at Spurs. However, he almost immediately returned to London and Fulham, where he has subsequently made a name for himself, playing 108 times for the Cottagers and earning a spot in the recently-named PFA Team of the Year for the Championship.
Whilst Fulham are keen to retain the services of Fredericks, his long-term future at the club appears to be dependent on whether or not they manage to secure promotion to the Premier League or not.
For their part, Arsenal are looking for back-up for Hector Bellerin, and also for somebody who could potentially replace him, in the event the Spaniard leaves for Barcelona or Juventus, both clubs having been linked with him recently.
