The Daily Express reports that Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic is becoming increasingly tempted by a summer move to Manchester United.
Citing Spanish publication Don Balon, they report that Rakitic has already received a proposal from Old Trafford, and amidst concerns that Barcelona’s summer transfer plans could see his place in the team come under threat, the player is seriously making the switch to United this summer.
The 30-year Croatian is under contract at the Nou Camp until the summer of 2021, having racked up more than 200 appearances for the Catalans since joining them from fellow La Liga side Sevilla in June 2014. During his time at Barcelona he has won the Champions League, the Club World Cup, the Copa del Rey three times and is on the verge of clinching his third La Liga title.
However, despite this, the player is considering a move to Manchester, where the terms on offer are set to be better than his current deal.
