Liverpool line-up Paolo Dybala as Coutinho replacement

The Sun reports that Liverpool have identified Juventus forward Paolo Dybala as the long-term replacement for Philippe Coutinho.

The 24-year old Argentine apparently tops the wish-list of Jurgen Klopp who has been looking for a player to replace Coutinho since the Brazilian departed Anfield for £145 million in the January transfer window.

Dybala joined Juventus in 2015 from Palermo in a deal worth £23 million, and has since established a name for himself as one of the most exciting young strikers in the world.  The player is rated at £90 million, and is coveted by both Real Madrid and Barcelona as well, but Liverpool hope the chance to play in an attacking side will attract the striker to Merseyside.

The forward has scored 51 goals in 91 appearances for Juventus, including a hat-trick against Benevento at the weekend, although Champions League watchers were given an illustration of his occasional disciplinary weaknesses, when he was stupidly sent-off against Real in last week’s quarter-final.
