Former City and Liverpool striker set for return to the Premier League

The Daily Mail reports that former Manchester City and Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli could be set for a return to the Premier League in the summer.

The 27-year old striker will be out of contract at his current club Nice at the end of the season, and is set to depart the Ligue 1 club, amidst reports of interest from Premier League clubs, as well as the likes of Juventus, Napoli and Inter Milan.

Balotelli had a mixed time in his previous time in England, scoring 30 goals in 80- appearances for City between 2010 and 2013, and then subsequently managing a paltry 4 goals for Liverpool in the 2014 – 2015 season. In fact, the player was as well-known for his antics and partying off the pitch as much as what he did on it, but now the player and his agent Mino Raiola, insists that he has matured, with the Italian international saying “I’m 27 and I have two children. The time for messing around with girls has long gone.”
