According to the Daily Mail Arsenal want to sign Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi this summer.
The 21-year old Nigerian has been a big success at Leicester since joining them in a £15 million deal, and has impressive displays have attracted attention from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United, although Arsenal are said to be front-runners to land the player.
Ndidi is principally a defensive midfielder, although he can also play in defence as well.
The player has featured 36 times in all competitions this season for Leicester, but his latest outing did not end happily for him as he was sent off late on in his team’s 2 – 0 away victory at Brighton, which was his second red card of the season, having suffered a similar fate against Crystal Palace in December.
Ndidi has 14 international caps for Nigeria and is likely to feature for them in this year’s World Cup alongside prospective Arsenal teammate Alex Iwobi.
