The Daily Mail reports that Juventus have begun talks with Manchester United over the transfer of Anthony Martial, with an eye to a summer move for the Frenchman.
Martial is out of contract at Old Trafford next summer, and the player’s representatives have refused to confirm whether the player sees his long-term future at United, as the forward is frustrated by a recent lack of game time. He has made 40 appearances for United in all competitions this season, scoring 11 goals but has struggled since Alexis Sanchez arrived at the club, making just two Premier League starts in that time.
He also missed out on the Champions League , confined to substitute appearances in both matches, as United lost to Sevilla over two legs.
Juventus have long been admirers of Martial, having previously tried to sign him as a teenager in 2013, and may now be ready to offer him the chance to unite with his French teammate Blaise Matuidi in Turin.
