According to The Daily Star, if Luke Shaw is set to leave Manchester United, he will be spoilt for choice in terms of his next club, with Tottenham, Everton, Chelsea and former side Southampton all said to be interested in signing the 22 year-old.
Shaw was substituted at half-time by Jose Mourinho during Manchester United’s 2 – 0 FA Cup Quarter-Final defeat of Brighton, and afterwards was publicly castigated by his manager for his performance and poor positional play.
This looks to have cost Shaw his future at United, especially with the news that converted left-winger turned full-back Ashley Young has just signed a one-year contract extension at Old Trafford.
Not everybody is happy with how Mourinho has treated Shaw, with accusations of bullying in some quarters, whilst there have been reports that some senior members of the United dressing room are ready to raise their concerns with the manager.
Meanwhile, other sources close to United are worried that the public criticism of the player is bad for business, and will help to drive down any price the club might be hoping to raise from the sale of the England left-back.
