Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund have made a late bid to land Manchester City and Arsenal target Lautaro Martinez, reports talkSPORT.
The 20-year old striker, who has scored 12 goals in 14 appearances for Racing Club in his native Argentina has attracted attention from both City and Arsenal, but both see him more as a future prospect rather than somebody ready to start plying his trade immediately in the Premier League.
Inter Milan have already made a £23.5 million bid for the player, but now that has been trumped by Dortmund, who have apparently offered £28.5 million for Martinez, who has made 11 appearances for Argentina at under-20 level.
Dortmund are also hoping to secure a permanent deal for Michy Batshuayi, currently on loan from Chelsea, who scored his sixth goal for the club since moving from Stamford Bridge in January, notching the winner in Sunday’s home win against Hannover.
