Real Madrid are targeting young Arsenal star Reiss Nelson, according to talkSport.
The 18-year old winger has long been regarded as a rising star by the Gunners since impressing during the pre-season tour, but has become frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities at The Emirates, making just six starts for Arsenal this season, with the majority of his 13 appearances for the club coming in the group stages of the Europa League.
He has not appeared in the starting XI since the FA Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest in January, and although he has made the bench on a number of occasions, he has rarely made it on to the pitch,
Nelson’s irritation at his situation showed itself last weekend when he threw his bib to the ground in disgust, after Arsene Wenger chose to bring Jack Wilshere on a substitute rather than him against Watford, even though the game was won at that stage.
While several other of Arsenal’s young stars like Jo Willock and Eddie Nketiah have recently signed new deals with the club, Nelson, who has is under contract until June 2019, has refused to do so and could be looking to move away, with PSG and Monaco, as well as Real, all monitoring his situation.
