The Daily Express reports that Arsenal have held talks with Corinthian midfielder Maycon about a summer move to The Emirates, as they look to rebuild their squad.
The 20-year old were linked with The Gunners back in 2016 shortly after the player made his debut for the Sao Paolo club, but no move materialised at that time, and Maycon chose to stay with his home town team in order to get further experience.
Now it appears that Arsenal are ready to reignite their interest in the player with Brazilian outlet OUL Esporte reporting that talks have been held with the player and he is keen to move to the Premier League.
Arsenal will not have their own way, however, when it comes to any possible transfer as Napoli and Shaktar Donestsk are also said to be interested in the player.
Maycon has 8 international caps at under-20 level for Brazil but has yet to be capped by their senior team.
