The Daily Star reports that Willian is likely to leave Chelsea in the summer, with Manchester United and AC Milan vying to sign the Brazilian.
Despite being one of Chelsea’s best players this season, he has been in and out of the team, with manager Antonio Conte frequently preferring to play him from the bench rather than give him a start in Premier League games.
Now the player is ready to leave West London and move elsewhere to get the regular first team football he feel he deserves.
Conte has defended is treatment of the player, saying “if a player deserves to play, and shows me during the training session he is on top of his form, and wants to work defensively, he plays. If not, stay on the bench, stay in the stands”.
Manchester United and AC Milan have been made joint favourites to sign the attacking midfielder, but Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris St-Germain are also monitoring developments.
The 29-year old moved to Chelsea from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013 and has made 223 appearances for them in all competitions, scoring 43 goals, including the opener in their 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on the weekend.
