TalkSPORT report that Inter Milan have slapped a £70 million price tag on defender Milan Skriniar in order to fend off interest from Manchester City.
The newly crowned Carabao Cup champions made a bid for the player in the January transfer window of £57 million which Inter turned down, but with a fresh offer expected for the player in the summer, the Serie A club have taken measures to secure Skriniar’s immediate future by insisting they will not listen to any offers under £70 million for him.
Skriniar is a Slovak who has 14 full international caps for his country. The 23-year old began his career at Zilina in his native land before transferring to Sampdoria in January 2016. He spent 18 months in Genoa before securing a move to Inter last July, signing a 5 year deal in the process.
He scored for Inter on the weekend as they beat bottom-club Benevento 2-0 at the San Siro.
