PSG are ready to pounce for Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo, The Sun reports, with Jose Mourinho fuming at the club’s failure to tie him down to a new deal.
The 27-year old has 15 months left on his current deal at Old Trafford, and whilst Mourinho rates his highly and wants to extend the Argentine’s stay at the club, there has been little real progress in getting him to agree to a new contract.
Rojo moved to Manchester in August 2014 in a £16 million deal, and although he has had his injury problems during his spell with United, he is still regarded as an asset by his manager, especially with the doubts surrounding the futures of his fellow defenders, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones.
Now, however, it looks like he may be ready to move to France in the summer, with PSG allegedly prepared to offer £30 million to sign him. Rojo has 54 caps for his national side, and is likely to feature in Argentina’s World Cup squad for Russia later this year.
