Real Madrid want to sign Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso in the summer, according to talkSPORT.
The 27-year old Spaniard came though the youth ranks at Real and made went senior appearance for them, before moving to Bolton Wanderers in 2010. He made 46 appearances for the Lancashire club, before moving to Serie A and Fiorentina in 2013.
He then moved back to England in a £24 million deal with Chelsea in 2016, and has since gone off to establish himself as the first-choice left back at Stamford Bridge, and was a key member of the side that won the Premiership last season. He has also proved to be a key attacking threat, netting 13 times in his 69 appearances for The Blues so far.
Now it appears that Real may want to bring him back to where his career began, although Alonso’s father is said to be against the move, preferring that his son move to either Barcelona or Real’s city rivals, Atletico, if he does return to Spain.
