Maroune Fellaini agrees deal to join Besiktas

According to The Daily Mirror, Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has agreed a deal to join Turkish side Besiktas at the end of the season.

The 30-year old Belgian international is out of contract at Old Trafford in June, and despite the wish of manager Jose Mourinho to keep him at the club, talks about a renewal have so far failed to progress.

Now it looks like his future lies away from Manchester, with news that a deal with Besiktas has already been agreed, with the Istanbul club pipping their city rivals, Galatasary and Fenerbahce, to his signature.

Fellaini is currently sidelined with injury, having undergone knee surgery, picked up when he came on as a substitute for United in their recent defeat to Spurs at Wembley.

Since joining United in a £27.5 million deadline deal from Everton in September 2013, Fellaini has made 149 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 19 goals.
