According to The Daily Mail, England goalkeeper Joe Hart could be set to end his loan spell at West Ham before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
Despite moving to West Ham in the summer, Hart has barely featured for the Hammers since David Moyes took over as manager in November, with Adrian starting the last 10 Premier League games for the East Londoners.
And the prospects for Hart to get more game time over the rest of the season look bleak, after West Ham were unceremoniously dumped out of the FA Cup by League One side Wigan Athletic over the weekend.
Hart played in that game, but, after the match, the 30-year old admitted he was “struggling for positives” after the defeat.
With his main rivals for the England goalkeeper jersey, Jordan Pickford of Everton, and Stoke’s Jack Butland, playing regularly for their clubs, Hart is desperate for regular game-time, and may look for another club for the rest of the season in order to keep alive his dream of starting for England in their World Cup opener against Tunisia on June 18th.
