Inter Milan have made an offer to take Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge on loan, reports ESPN.
Liverpool, who are said to be considering the proposal, are ready to let Sturridge leave Anfield during the current window, but only if the deal is worthwhile.
28-year old Sturridge has fallen down the pecking order at Liverpool, and has started just 5 times for Jurgen Klopp in all competitions this season. He was not part of the Liverpool squad that lost one-nil to bottom-side Swansea on Monday night.
Inter are looking to boost their striking options and provide cover for their prolific Argentine forward, Mauro Icardi.
Sturridge, for his part is looking for regular football, and still harbours ambitions of making Gareth Southgate’s England squad for this summer’s World Cup.
Since joining Liverpool from Chelsea in 2013, the injury-prone striker has made 133 appearances for the club in all competitions, and scored 63 goals.
