West Ham United manager David Moyes is planning a raid on his former side Everton for their 19 year old English midfielder Tom Davies, according to the Mirror.
The England under-21 international has played 20 times in the Premier League so far this season, starting 11 times, but has found appearances more limited under new manager Sam Allardyce, who does not have a good reputation for developing young players.
There are rumours that Allardyce wants to trim his top-heavy squad and already several of Everton’s summer buys like Davy Klaassen and Sandro Ramirez, acquired by previous boss Ronald Koeman, are rumoured to be on their out of the club, whilst Kevin Mirillas has been allowed to leave on loan to Olympiacos.
However, whether he will let Davies leave is yet to be seen, because such a move is unlikely to be popular with the Everton fans who are a big supporter of the midfielder who has been at the club since he was 11 years old.
