SkySports report that West Ham United are ready to listen to offers for former Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez during the current transfer window.
Hernandez only joined West Ham from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen last summer in a £16 million deal, but has struggled to make his mark in East London, netting just 4 goals for his new club, with his last successful strike coming against Crystal Palace in a two-all draw at the end of October.
The Mexican has 99 caps for his country and is certain to feature in his country’s World Cup squad this year. Hernandez joined Manchester United in June 2010, and spent 4 years at the club before moving to Real Madrid on loan, and then, eventually Germany.
However, it appears his stay with West Ham may be a short one, as manager David Moyes looks to reshape the club’s attack. Diafro Sakho is on the verge of a move to Crystal Palace, and there have been reports linking Andy Carroll with a transfer to Chelsea.
