According to SkySports Italia, Inter Milan are interested in signing Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge on loan.
The England forward finds himself out of favour at Anfield under manager Jurgen Klopp, and has made only 14 appearances for the team this season, scoring three goals. The 28-year old still has hopes of forcing his way in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup plans, but needs to be playing regularly if he is going to be on the plane to Russia in June, and is looking for a loan move to reignite his career.
Southampton, Newcastle United and West Ham are also said to be interested in the player. However, they are likely to be less of an attractive option for Sturridge than a move to Inter, who are looking to get back in the Serie A title race, having fallen behind Napoli and Juventus in recent weeks.
Inter have also been linked with a move for former Chelsea player, Andre Schurle, now playing for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
