Man City, Juventus and PSG in hunt for Real Madrid star

Manchester City, Juventus and PSG are all said to be interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Isco.

The 25-year old Spanish international was, until recently, one of the first names on the team sheet at the Bernabeu, but was recently dropped to the bench by manager Zinedine Zidane for the club’s recent 5 – nil thrashing of Sevilla, and was twice subbed off in Real’s two matches in the Club World Cup, having failed to make any meaningful contribution on the pitch.

With Gareth Bale returning to fitness, Isco may find first team opportunities at Real limited in the second half of the season, especially as there are rumours of a rift between him and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The player signed a new deal with the Spanish giants as recently as September, but now he may be looking for a move at the end of the season, although his likely transfer fee and wages mean that only Europe’s richest clubs – City, Juventus and PSG – could afford to sign him.
