Chelsea are ready to sell Willian in January in order to help fund a bid for his Brazilian compatriot Lucas Moura.
PSG winger Moura is surplus to requirements in France, with the Parisian club looking to offload him and several other players in order to lower their wage bill and meet the requirements of FFP (Financial Fair Play). Now it appears that Chelsea want to sign him, and are prepared to sell Willian to raise the money to bid for the player.
Willian was signed from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala for £30 million 4 years ago, and has scored 32 goals in 196 appearances for Chelsea since. However, under manager Antonio Conte, he has struggled to hold down a first-team spot, and has lost his place in the starting line-up to Pedro.
Now it appears that his time at Stamford Bridge may be coming to an end, with Chelsea looking to recoup a fee of around £27 million from his sale.
