Juventus have apparently identified Hector Bellerin as their number one target in the January transfer window.
According to Tuttosport the Turin club are lining-up a new right back as Stephan Lichtsteiner will be released at the end of the season, and the 22-year old Spanish international tops their wish list, although Thomas Meunier of PSG and Atletico Madrid’s Sime Vrsaljko are also said to be in the frame.
Bellerin was linked with a move back to his home club of Barcelona in the summer but Arsenal rebuffed their approaches and are likely not want to let the player go, given the fact that he signed a 6 and a half year deal last November, and they have no obvious replacement for him in their squad.
Mathieu Debuchy played in Bellerin’s position in the Europa League against Bate Borisov last week and scored a fine goal, but he has long been linked with a move away from the club, and is injury-prone anyway.
