Tottenham and Manchester United are set to be in competition with Inter Milan for Real Madrid’s Luka Modric, who is reported to be unsettled at The Bernabeu.
Modric spent 4 years at Spurs before moving to Madrid in 2012 where he has enjoyed a successful career, winning the Champions League on 3 occasions as well as winning a league title and Spanish cup.
Now, however, he has apparently told team-mates that he will be leaving Spain at the end of the season, with a number of clubs interested in the 32-year old midfielder.
Inter Milan are said to be favourites to capture his signature, having already made contact with his representatives, but United’s Jose Mourinho is also a big fan of a player who he signed when he was Real’s manager, whilst Spurs would gladly welcome him back in North London.
The Croatian player has more than a hundred caps for his country and will be an integral part of a team that has been draw in the same World Cup Group as Argentina, Iceland and Nigeria.
