In the last transfer window Manchester City lost one of their brightest young talents when England youth international, Jadon Sancho, moved to Borussia Dortmund because he was frustrated at the lack of first team opportunities at the Etihad.
Now comes news that they may be about to lose another of their young stars in the January window, with Tuttosport reporting that Inter Milan are keeping close tabs on attacking midfielder, Brahim Diaz.
The 18-year old Spaniard, who began his career with Malaga, and is also said to be interesting Real Madrid, is highly thought of by coaches at City but, with such a wealth of talent ahead of him, it is hard to see him breaking into the first team picture any time soon. Manager Pep Guardiola last month reiterated his desire to keep Diaz in Manchester, whilst at the same time acknowledging that such matters are not always in his control.
Inter may be set to offer him a more prominent role, should Diaz decide he wants to go.
