PSG are reportedly interested in signing David De Gea next summer. The Manchester United keeper has continuously been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, and only a faulty fax machine prevented a move to Real Madrid two years ago.
Now it appears that PSG are on the verge of throwing their hat into the ring as well, and will try and make the Spanish international another big money signing next summer, with news that the French club’s Director of Football, Antero Henrique, has already sounded-out De Gea’s agent, Jorge Mendes, about a possible move.
Allegedly, PSG’s preferred choice as keeper is Jan Oblak who currently plays for Atletico Madrid. However, because Oblak has a €100 million release clause in his contract, De Gea is seen as a cheaper option, although Manchester United will still expect a hefty fee for a player who is under contract until June 2019.
