The Sun reports that Eden Hazard is set to become the top earner in the Premier League with a £300,000 a week pay packet if he agrees to a new deal with Chelsea, who are desperate to keep one of their biggest stars . The Belgian international already earns £220,000 under his current deal with the Stamford Bridge club, which runs until 2020.
However, amidst interest for the playmaker from the likes of Real Madrid and PSG, former Lille player Hazard has now been offered a new deal which will eclipse the £290,000 a week which Paul Pogba allegedly earns each week at Manchester United.
It is reported that Hazard, who has only just returned to the Chelsea team after injury, and who was in the starting line-up which lost to Manchester City at home on Saturday evening, could sign the new contract when he returns to London after the international break.
