Paul Pogba
The Frenchman, still only 23, has already collected four league titles with Juventus and has been an integral part of their midfield ever since his move to Turin from Manchester United in the summer of 2012. The midfielder took 15th spot in the Ballon d’Or voting last January, and that says it all about his place amongst the potential winners of the prestigious gong in the future.
The only doubt is with which club he will win the Ballon d’Or as he is currently being pursued by Manchester United and Juventus appear firm on their resolve to hold on to their leading man unless their asking price is met.
Neymar
The Brazilian has a legitimate claim for being the third best player in the world. And that claim was verified as he was voted at the third spot in the Ballon d’Or voting last January.
Part of Barcelona’s fearsome triumvirate with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, Neymar has more than held his own amongst his fellow South American magicians. The forward was recently awarded with a renewed contract by the Camp Nou outfit and it is just a matter of time before he collects the Ballon d’Or.
Paulo Dybala
The Argentine is at the top of the list of most exciting attacking players in the world. The 22-year-old took no time in settling at Juventus following his transfer from Palermo in the summer of 2015 as he racked in 23 goals and nine assists in all competition to help the Old Lady to a league and cup double.
Dybala has been talked about very highly by the legendary players and if he continues his development at the same pace, he will be ranked very highly when the voting for Ballon d’Or is done in the coming seasons.
Renato Sanches
The Portuguese international ran the show from midfield in his inaugural season at Benfica. So thorough were his performances that his only season in the top flight was enough for Bayern Munich to acquire his signature for a big amount.
He surely gave everyone a taste of his talents during the recently concluded European Championship as he kept the ball ticking for Portugal and scored a crucial goal against Poland. His talent is there for all to see and it would be massive surprise if he doesn’t end up with a couple of Ballon d’Ors in the coming years.
Kingsley Coman
Bayern Munich surely have a keen eye for talent. This year they acquired Sanches and last year they signed Coman from Juventus. The youngster has been a revelation at the Bavarian outfit and has been a difference maker whenever his services have been required on the wings.
Coman made the France national team during the European Championship and held his own at the international stage as well. The gifted forward looks a sure bet to be a Ballon d’Or winner in the future.
